I planned to take photos but the amazing smell and sizzling chorizo made me dig in right away, and I never looked back. The South of the Border is a flavorful brunch with perfectly seasoned chorizo, smoky guajillo sauce, fresh toppings and creamy cheese while the slow cooked beans on the side tie everything together and make the whole dish even better.
Great locally owned restaurant. We’d been here a couple of years ago but couldn’t find it because the name had changed, so we ended up at Bitzi’s next door which was disappointing. After leaving Bitzi’s we ventured next door and found it! We went in and talked to Gilbert, he explained the name change and so our group decided to sit down and have a drink to celebrate birthdays. I always get the chilaquiles verdes con chorizo, but the huevos rancheros blew my mind last time I went. I also tried the margarita flight, and each of the three flavors was tasty. I tried dragonfruit, passionfruit, and prickly pear in the flight.
This place is really worth checking out!
