hot dog and fries were great, the toppings on the dogs are spot on. i also ordered a burger, it was ok, if only they used actual sliced cheese instead of nacho cheese. i would have given 5 stars if the burger was better quality. overall, the great place, reminds me of a old burger join in utah.
A few weeks ago one of Mrs. V’s coworkers recommended “Dazzo’s Dog House” located in Glendale, AZ which according to said colleague claimed to serve up authentic Chicago style hotdogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and burgers and fries. It just so happens that this foodie was born and raised in the Chicago burbs, and has spent more time than I care to mention sampling some of Chicago’s best cuisine from dive bars/diners to trendy hip elevated restaurants and just about everything...
What a spot!! They opened in 1979 the year I was born and it took me this long to stop in! 10 out of 10! Had an awesome chili dog great snap to the dog chili was on point french fries were really good! Highly recommend and I will be back next week!!
