The Spicery is a treasure—the charming atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious menu all come together for an unforgettable experience. My family recently celebrated a birthday at the Spicery with high tea. Our granddaughters loved it! The tea as well as the assortment of finger sandwiches and sweets were excellent! The presentation was lovely. Thanks to the Spicery team for giving our granddaughter a memorable day.

What a beautiful day! My Mother-in-Law chose this perfect venue to hold my Baby Shower. The owner and support came in on their day off for this private event and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make this such a special time! The ambiance was perfect, the tea and food that they brought out was so delicious (they even made me a special decaffeinated tea!)! This was one of the best days I've ever had! Thank you!

Took the girls here today and can I say just what a stinkin treat this place was. Loved every minute of it! Everything they fed us was delicious, and the teas, my goodness, we loved all of those too. Make a reservation weeks in advance, as they get booked out. Will be back soon for another girly date! So precious and fun

A sweet client introduced me to The Spicery Tea Room, and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Tucked away in the heart of historic downtown Glendale, this charming spot is full of character and warmth. The building itself tells a story, and the kind, welcoming staff make every visit feel like a special occasion.

The food is delightful—simple, fresh, and comforting—and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet afternoon, or just treating yourself to something special.

Downtown Glendale adds to the magic. With its adorable shops and seasonal events, you can easily turn your visit into a mini adventure. I especially love the charm bracelet activity—each shop offers a little charm during events, and it’s such a fun and creative way to explore the area.

If you’re looking for a cozy, nostalgic experience with great tea and heartfelt hospitality, The Spicery is an absolute must.

My husband and I had a great time today for the Royal tea brunch. Our waitress Lisa was so kind and thoughtful and I honestly cannot recommend this charming little spot more!

Delicious food and tea!

This place was great. They offer a great variety of tea and pastries. We got one of the ADULT TEA packages, which come with tea & pastries.

The sandwiches, tea, salad, scones and sweets were delicious. The soup was just average. Beautiful china and lovely atmosphere. The server seemed stressed... I think she was serving all of the tables herself. Make sure to confirm which tea service you want when you sit down as well as in your reservation or you may get the scones before the soup. A little chaotic but overall delightful!! ☕️

Such a lovely experience! I had the adult tea with the three-course option and added the salad, which was absolutely delicious—fresh greens topped with strawberries, candied nuts, and a light strawberry vinaigrette. All of the small bites and treats were beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is loaded with country charm. The Royal Tea offered a nice variety of tea selections and for the most part the meal.courses were plentiful. Everyone in our party was allowed to make our own tea selection, and a second pot or a new selection was provided upon request. The courses included mini-sandwiches and quiche, creamy chicken soup which was light and flavorful, Heritage salad which was loaded with fresh strawberries and candied nuts, light and tasty buttermilk scones and the shortbread, and specialty cookies. If I offered a suggestion, it would be to provide a larger portion of chantilly cream, lemon curd, and apple butter. In our group of 6, there was only enough for each of us to have a taste, not nearly enough for 6 scones. However, the food was plentiful and by the time the cookies arrived, we each boxed them and took them home with us. This restaurant also provides vegan and gluten free options which was a plus for some in our group.

Soo fun and the service was beyond perfect. The food was very good and the desserts were extra amazing! The teas were perfect. I got the royal tea and my brother got the duchess! My brother and I had a great time and I can't wait to take my Mom here
