Bereisheet 129 Vegan Plantbased Cuisine & Catering

Went here for the vegan social last night, it was not very busy but they told us they had just gotten an order from a person who ordered a bunch of stuff so everything was pushed back. Not sure why their order system didn’t pause online orders or give an accurate time based on this but I would suggest contacting the developer over this if it’s a built in feature. I ordered at 8:10pm and got the Nashville hot plate and my friends ordered a quesadilla and loaded fries on a separate order about 2min after me, we didn’t get our food until a little after 10pm, so roughly 2 hours of being told repeatedly our food was almost ready. Right when I cancelled my order so we could just go home and make dinner there, a person helping told me it was ready, then 15min later gave me a cold box of fries and 3 soggy plain fried mushrooms that I asked for extra wet with the Nashville hot, and a small bite of slaw put in a tiny dipping sauce container which felt really unfair for the price of $20 and 2 hours of waiting. The slaw was actually warmer than the fries and mushrooms and I did not eat it for safety concerns. No pickles, and the Nashville hot sauce tasted more like spicy Italian dressing. The initial wait we were given was 20min, then they added another 30min, then kind of threw the wait times out the window, and I wish they or we would have just cancelled so we could get our money back and order from a different place. There was still a crowd of people waiting for their food when most of the other vendors were closing down and packing up. I’ve heard good things about this place and I really wanted to like it, it’s ok to not be perfect every time and I respect the effort it takes to run a food truck, but I would appreciate transparency and respect for my time and my money too. I would be willing to try again but I’m not waiting more than 20min next time.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. The fries were undercooked and the flavor of the wings was disappointing. Lions mane mushroom is full of taste, so it was really a tragedy to not be able to taste it due to the immense amount of hot sauce that was used. We also had a burger. Even though it looked very delicious, the patty was over spiced with a single spice mix, and the texture was like eating mashed potatoes, not at all similar to a burger patty.

My wife and I went to the vegan night market and ordered here the service was awful except for one kid who was trying to hand the food out and help people so good jod to the kid. but the older man looked like he could not care at all 90% of the time we waited he was on his phone not helping and sead to the kid with my wife there to "not be so nice to people". In total we waited for 1 1/2 hours and the food was subpar.

I did not realize this food truck was vegan when I ordered, the vegan part of the canopy was obscured and it was dusk. But I don't mind vegan cuisine so no problem. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and fries. I was quite happy with both! Not the best Philly in the world, but at least the best vegan Philly I've ever had!

To give some perspective: my very skeptical meat eating husband tried it, ate half my order and complained about how much he liked it! "I hate how much I like it!" He said, so you know it's good!

Ordered the birria and lions mane Philly “cheesesteak”… both my husband and I enjoyed our food. ?And we were happy to see some vegan food at the Goodyear Night market!

We went to Earth Day event at a High School specifically to see this place and ask some questions about Vegan food. The young man there was on his phone with head phones and seemed to know nothing about the food. He didn't even take the headphones off or stand up to speak to us. We just left. If a zero star was available that's what you would have gotten.

Complicated order process. Claimed I didn’t actually place an order despite showing them the email receipt. They then decided to put multiple orders ahead of mine despite their mistake. The birria tacos were not that great and I ultimately left disappointed. :(

The food was absolutely amazing! My kids hate mushrooms but when they tried the “chicken” they became fans.

We tried the Philly Cheesesteak and fries. We are not vegan, so we are skeptical when it cones to trying new things. I have to tell you that you have to try their food. It was very very good!!!!!Thank you for the good food and great service!

Had the Philly Cheesesteak, Chili Cheese Fries and the Fried Chicken with fries and it was soooo delicious. I walked off so the fries were a little cold when I got them. I spoke to the owner and she replaced them immediately and apologized for them being cold. Very nice business. I definitely plan to return to this truck again. I wish they had a spot as I would show up every day. That Philly was indeed life.
