Had to get wipes out of my purse to wipe down the bar. Bartender wasn't very friendly. We kept talking and smiling and eventually she warmed up a bit. Service is always slow at this location. 1 Bartender serving whole bar side plus all bar drinks for restaurant. I hear same complaints from others that I know from going to different restaurant bars. So many say they no longer go here. 99th ave and McDowell has great service on bar side. Also with 1 Bartender but more customers...
Went to celebrate our granddaughter birthday. Our waiter must have been new. That is cool everyone has to start somewhere. He did a good job but could have checked on the table more often. We all ordered and I ordered a chicken taco just chicken and cheese. When it came to the table it had everything on it. I talked to waiter and he went back and had it made correctly. Once it came to the table again the only thing they did was scrap the lettuce and tomatoes off put new cheese...
Ever since the macayo's in Surprise went so far downhill in service and food quality, this is been our go to macayo's. If the staff that was on when we came in was any indication, this one's headed the same direction. The food was okay, just like the staff in surprise, I felt like I was a interruption to their day instead of a customer that would give them something to do. The only other macayo's that we can drive to is just too far away unless we're already...
