Manuels, great Mexican food chain in Phoenix,AZ. The service was excellent, food awesome and served piping hot, also nice atmosphere just missing the live Mariachis music. The prices were on the average amount. 3 of us ate Lunch specials,cheese crisp,and drinks for under 70 Dollars.
Great food. Good service. One of the better Mexican restaurants in the west valley. Go to is original Popo's in Maryvale, but Manuel's is much closer. Was not impressed with the newer Popo's in Goodyear. It is not the same as the original.
This was our first visit. We were greeted promptly and seated after a brief wait. Our server was friendly but obviously very busy. Our food arrived very quickly and was warm and delicious. The only negative was the illegal debit card surcharge that was added to our bill. Debit card surcharges have always been illegal in every state for decades. It is annoying to have this happen to chains that should, and probably do know better. Buyer beware of this scam.
