Plaza Bonita Restaurant Reviews
Way over priced.. I never look at prices when I go out to eat. b
But boy do I wish I would have this time. An average polo fundido was $29.00, a plain bean burrito was $14.00, $8.00 for a Coors lite. Never stopping there again...
This place seemed nice well at least the atmosphere was. But the food was awful! No taste and the salad taco shell tasted like old grease. I took a few bites hoping it would get better but it only got worse. When i told the server he didn’t even offer to take it off the bill. Worst Mexican Food Ever!! I don’t understand the good reviews here, these people probably don’t know what good Mexican food is. But My advice is… Stay away.
AVOID! SCAMMERS! Price on receipt doesn’t match price on menu!!

Plaza Bonita Restaurant offers authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is friendly and enthusiastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features a variety of options, including Combo 2 with a recommended pork tamale, Chile Relleno, and a beef, avocado, and mango salad. The soups, such as pork soup and green chili soup, are made with special spices and simmered for hours, resulting in rich and authentic flavors.
Recent visitors praise the excellent service, with staff being attentive and helpful. The food has received positive remarks, with dishes like street tacos, combination plates, and perfectly cooked Carne Asada and butterfly cut shrimp being highly recommended. Customers have enjoyed the 2-for-1 margarita specials and the complimentary chips and salsa. The restaurant offers authentic Mexican food with attentive service and quick table side service. Original Margaritas and local Craft beer are recommended. The restaurant also has classic breakfast choices, with thick cut French toast with notes of vanilla and cinnamon, dusted with powdered sugar. Coffee and service are excellent.
The restaurant has a lively and bright decor, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Parking is not a problem, and the pricing is better than most of the area in and outside of the Grand Canyon. Customers recommend passing on whatever the hotels are selling for breakfast and grabbing something at Plaza Bonita instead.
