We had lunch at the Asylum yesterday. It took more than a half an hour for the food to arrive. When it did, the french fries were cold and the flank steak sandwich were undercooked and tough. Very disappointing. There was also a mix up with the wrong side dish brought out. Have eaten there before and it was decent. Won't eat there again, there are much better restaurants in Jerome.
I love the Asylum!!! It’s a bit pricey but my food has always been good!! The butter nut squash soup is amazing! It’s now a staple every time I visit! The cheesecake is to die for…as is the crème brûlée. The staff has always been pleasant and sweet! I’ve been told a few times, there are better places to eat in Jerome. But I’ve never had a bad experience or bad food.
