If you’re looking for a classic American diner vibe with a nostalgic Route 66 feel, Mr D’z Route 66 Diner is a solid stop.
The menu offers typical diner meals like pancakes, sandwiches, omelets and milkshakes. Unfortunately pancakes are only available for breakfast :( so I ordered a club sandwich and vanilla milkshake and both were delicious. Portions are definitely filling!

After cycling 25 miles everything tastes good, but the burgers and fries are super! A large patty of beef served with excellent fries.
Later we had a shake and a sundae. Fun '50s and'60s music playing.

My favorite offering is their homemade root beer. Is it better than the bottles? I t could be the atmosphere, but I think so. Even better when made into a root beer float!
