In the 4yrs I’ve been in Kingman, I’ve been talked into trying this restaurant 5 times, each visit was more and more disappointing. Finally just started telling people, no thank you I’m not going. I understand places can have a bad night here and there but after 5 horrible experiences and water money on meals that couldn’t be eaten, that was enough for me to stop giving them chances.

As a temporary resident of Kingman I have visited Rutherfords a few times. I usually ordered the hamburger to go which was always delicious. When I tried to order breakfast to go this morning my order sat in the window for quite awhile before I got up and asked if it were mine. I told the waitress that I shouldn't have to ask for my order and she quipped that she didn't take my order. Girl with the blue green hair needs to work on customer service skills. An order I took out last week looked and tasted like slop..I don't know if I am returning to Rutherfords. I have encountered friendly staff but today wasn't one of those days. Honestly do better especially regarding take out.

Had the fish Friday. Big juicy tender fish ? and was only able to eat the 3 I got, normally I'm able to eat 6 or 7 but these were filling.
They were fried perfectly and the batter was crispy, tender and thin

Service is slow and they make it well known they don't want you there.

Great little roadside diner food was awesome. Had the pork chops service was great. Friendly drink never got empty. This is your classic route 66 type place. I enjoyed it
