We made a reservation not knowing anything about this place that was new to us as it sounded like a nice place to have dinner. When we arrived were were taken past open tables up front to the back room bar and were seated in a corner. Unfortunately, it sounded like a Chuck E Cheese due to a large group with kids running all over the area and loudly having a good time as if on a play ground. We asked for a quieter seating and were accommodated up front where there a lot of open...
Frequented this restaurant for many years and ownership change. Only one thing has remained constant...the parking lot is an embarrassment, it must date to the original construction. For patrons our age it is a fall hazard, something we fear and are always on alert to avoid.
Everyone at the table was happy with their order. Prime ribs cooked to the right degree of doneness, two fish dishes very nicely prepared. The salads were very good as well. The only imperfection was the loaded baked potato seemed to have been left sitting out - the cheese had cooled into a slightly unpleasant lump - & the fries were cold.
The service was good. The ambience was as well, though the lighting seemed a bit brighter than it should have been....
