Celebrated 25th Anniversary with friends and the evening was beautiful, food was very good and sat outside under the stars for great ambiance. Service wasn't bad but could have been a little more attentive as the restaurant was not busy. But the Core Kitchen made the night very special and it was appreciated.

One of the best dining experiences we've had in our 50 years of marriage, which is what we were celebrating at the Ritz-Carlton. Everything about the evening was perfect. Jaren was a very pleasant and professional server whose personality shone through without getting in the way of his job. The food was outstanding, both the filet and the accompaniments (truffle-topped Parmesan French fries and glazed carrots that tasted like candy). Take your wallet but be prepared for a very memorable dining experienc! Highly recommended.

The food quality and value of this beautiful venue has gone way down. I paid an entree price ($40) for two medium scallops, accompanied by way too vinegary grapes and raisins covered in shavings of turnip. The waiter told me it was an appetizer portion but I really should have asked what that meant in terms of what I was actually being served, since some appetizers can be a small meal size. The quality of the food, even the desert...we had the molten chocolate cake, which was good but not stellar... doesn't warrant the high prices. The bonbon presentation at the end of the meal was fun, but doesn't make up for us feeling like our meals (my husband had the tenderloin dinner) didn't warrant what we paid. We expected to pay more for the Ritz but also expected the quality to match.

Top notch. A rather jaded diner, I can not fault the Core on anything. food choices are good, preparation is excellent, our server Marcus outstanding, other wait and host staff were welcoming. For me, it proves that if you want the best, you pay for it.

Great food and service. The prices are steep, so bring a pile of cash with you.

My wife and I had a fantastic time! We shared the scallops, a medium rare steak, and the truffle fries. It was incredible. By far some of the best scallops we have ever had. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and the restaurant brought her a cake and made the evening very special. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others.

Overall a very pleasant place to enjoy dinner. It's an open sitting area which takes away the ambiance of a relatively private dinner. Kids screaming on and off and a gentleman swatting flies with his ball cap was an easy distraction from our otherwise enjoyable meal. BTW, my salmon was undercooked. My wife's fillet was perfectly prepared and delicious.

As a “visitor” in my own home town, I wouldn’t have expected this restaurant to be as amazing as it was regardless of being in the Ritz. Impressive staff- Connor the host was so kind, Jeff was an exceptional waiter and all of the staff that supported our dinner. There were fun elements of surprise for us through our dinner. There wasn’t one thing in our meal that we did not love. Locals can come here for dinner without stay, we will be back.

Jaren was our waiter and he was AMAZING. Very personable and kind. Made our first visit fantastic. Food was delicious. We were lucky and came in on a quiet night. Will definitely come back when in the area! (If we can have Jaren as our waiter again!)

The Mexican corn soup was not the same. It was way too spicy. I've had it before and loved it. My husbands steak ordered rare plus, came out medium. He got another one that was perfect. My lobster dish had snap peas and it was awful, as the strings on the peas were inedible. Desserts were awesome.

The food here is quite good, but a bit pricey for what it is and inconvenient to reach if you're not staying at the resort. But the service is on point and the atmosphere is very sophisticated compared to a lot of the restaurants in the Tucson area.

On the reservation form, they asked if it was a special occasion - we were splurging for my birthday They said Happy Birthday when we came in and that was the only recognition. Why ask the question? The food arrived timely and was beautifully presented but the potatoes were not even warm. They replaced the dish with apologies but no further acknowledgement. My club soda was $7.00. We won't be rushing back to Core.

We had 11 people, and we were the only table they seated outside in the rain and chilly weather. The food was marginal. Such a disappointment, last year it was lovely, we won't be back.
