The food is out of this world!!! Truly the BEST sushi around!! Christian was great. He had so many tables, but you would never know it. My husband observed him going to so many but we never felt underserved great service, exceptional beauty and the ambience is out of this world unmatched. Look forward to going back real soon.

Lovely restaurant to enjoy drinks and Sushi on a Saturday evening. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Beautiful view from the patio. Drinks are relatively expensive but the food options are very good and more reasonably priced. The guitar music was a nice addition to the ambiance.

The last time we were here for sushi it was exceptional. The presentation, the freshness, the nigiri portions, and server were all top notch which is why I was looking forward to another visit. Unfortunately, this recent experience paled in comparison. Our server could have been mistaken for a robot, the sushi nigiri and rolls were put on a plate and served like they came off a conveyor belt and the portion sizes were very small and not as fresh as before. We chose an early seating time so perhaps this was the reason our experience was off.

The only thing this place has going for them is its location and view.

The service is just awful. The staff seems very underqualified to be working at a 5-star hotel. They’re kind of robotic unable to make rational decisions to take care of their guests.

Here was our experience:

Night #1: We go to Ignite at around 4:30pm to grab a table because we noticed that more than half the restaurant was empty. We were told by their robotic host who was speaking in a way that was obviously not natural to her (it was very awkward) that they were “fully committed for the rest of the evening” and that they probably wouldn’t have anything available until 7:45pm. We explained that we just traveled hours to arrive and were waiting for our room to be ready. All we want is a drink and a quick bite. Nope, she couldn’t provide us anywhere to sit. What’s crazy is 2 hours later, we still saw many empty tables. It just made no sense.

Night #2: We figured we can give them another try since we weren’t starving at we knew what to expect as far as being able to get a table. So we check in at the front around 5:30pm and we were told that they can reserve us a table for 7:30pm or later. We did 8:30pm. We arrived and they tell us that half their menu (the sushi menu that we wanted to order off of) wasn’t being offered because they ran out of sushi rice and it would take an hour to make it. Note that the menu is done being offered at 9:30pm. Being a 5-star hotel, you would think that they’d be proactive and notice at around 8:00pm that they were running low on sushi rice. So then you make more!

They offered 2 free appetizers, which we accepted even though that wasn’t what we wanted. We were hungry. It was 8:30pm and there was nowhere else to eat at that point. The food wasn’t great.

They left a message on our room phone offering a “memorable experience” the next evening. At that point, we were done with them. And the food was blah.

Very disappointing. So much to say here, just avoid this place if you can.

We enjoyed talking with Luke, who attended our table. He made us feel well taken care of. Thanks!

Amazing sushi with great customer service. We are in the fishing industry and both agree this was quality seafood. We've been back several times.

Sushi is always very good here. Probably the best in Tucson. the rolls are tasty and not loaded with rice. I had the salmon sashimi, and the salmon was very fresh, smooth and tender. The wagyu beef roll was flavorful and good. The Dove Mountain Road is always refreshing.

The service was amazing. We had delicious sushi. The service has really improved so much here.

The ambience is amazing and a great venue for a special occasion. Drinks are well made, but the food is very pricey and covered in sauces which was very disappointing for this price point. Skip the bites and enjoy the drinks and views.

The Ignite Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The steak, however, was very tough and hard to cut through. Not what I was expecting for a $60 steak or from a Ritz property.

We got there at 5:00 and wanted to sit at a front table facing the mountains, there was one table taken out of maybe 10- 14 tables. The hostess was not there and the wait person seating us told us we could not have any front tables as they were all reserved. We ended up at the front table because we insisted. When the hostess arrived she had an attitude with us when she walked the tables. We ended up leaving at 6:45 and all the tables were still empty... Not a good feeling.

We sat on the patio with amazing views of the Tortolita Mountains at sunset. We were celebrating our anniversary and our server (Christian) made our evening memorable. The sushi was excellent and they had a very good selection of wines.
