We got there at 5:00 and wanted to sit at a front table facing the mountains, there was one table taken out of maybe 10- 14 tables. The hostess was not there and the wait person seating us told us we could not have any front tables as they were all reserved. We ended up at the front table because we insisted. When the hostess arrived she had an attitude with us when she walked the tables. We ended up leaving at 6:45 and all the tables were still empty... Not a good feeling.

We sat on the patio with amazing views of the Tortolita Mountains at sunset. We were celebrating our anniversary and our server (Christian) made our evening memorable. The sushi was excellent and they had a very good selection of wines.

After visiting most of the best fine dining restaurants in the Tucson region, I've found Ignite to the best. It has exceptional food, ambience, it's romantic and has the most beautiful patio dining with fire pits, lovely landscaping and a gorgeous view. The service is also excellent, with servers and staff who treat everyone like royalty. Ignite also has the best sushi in the region as well. Prices are high but well worth it. I give this place my highest recommendation.

We went early and the flautist was playing at Ignite; she was lovely and played beautifully. Our server, Erica, was very friendly and helpful. Later, a guitarist and percussionist played and they were terrific. The food was great and the overall environment was perfect!

You need to be careful where you sit inside if it's cool outside because evey time a door opens you get a big cold breeze.... other than that, we love Ignite. The sushi is outstanding, and so are all the rolls and appetizers.

So, in regards to bar food and ambiance, it was excellent! My server, maya, was on pointe, attentive and I could not raise a finger without attention. Honestly, the food was good too! This bar is known for the sushi which I did not order (my fault!) but, I had the salmon and it was delicious. If you are going to the ritz Carlton at five mountain- you NEED to make reservations here for at least 1 or 2 nights. Do not mistake and think you can walk in. The scenery makes this a coveted spot! And, I was at the bar this afternoon getting a post hike glass of wine (aka: needed a break before walking back to it room) and the mid afternoon vibe by a group of ladies ordering drinks made it hard to leave! Cheers! Will definitely be back!

Ignite is one of the most beautiful settings around. Food is always great - we really enjoy their sushi menu. Service level is always professional and courteous. But while Ignite was never inexpensive, prices seem to have increased quite a bit. Last night, two cocktails and two sushi rolls came in at $102, pre tip. To be fair, a cup of Miso soup comes along with the sushi. I'm sure we will be back, as we love the ambiance and the quality. Just maybe not quite as often as we would like.

We sat on the outside patio, they've added more heaters so we were really comfortable in spite of the cool evening. The kokopelli flute music at dusk is always amazing, a truly wonderful way to usher in the evening after a day in the desert. After that they also had beautiful live guitar music for ambience. The food was salted more than we are used to, but the sushi, salad, and dessert were all excellent. Safe for celiacs - our waiter was only moderate knowledge, but the other wait staff and kitchen staff were excellent - no issues!
