It's the residents club of the original Dove Mountain golf club and development. It's open to the public now. Nice view of the golf course and looking west towards Marana.
For a weekend lunch, not bad, the menu is much smaller for the weekend lunches, the service is alright, seemed to be a little oblivious to weekday menu options, didn't really fill drinks, but not bad. Food was almost identical to Dove Mountain Brewery, I wonder if they share prep or ingredient lists. The view is amazing, I highly suggest a reservation, but even the bar had great views of the valley.
The Highlands Bar & Grill is located in a closed-gate, age 55+ active adult community. The Bar & Grill is open to the public. Especially during snowbird season, a reservation is highly recommended.
