A friend of mine in Chandler really built this place up as being extraordinarily inexpensive with wonderful food. I drove 20 minutes to Signal Butte from Mesa just to try it out. My first disappointment came when I looked for a door to enter and there was only one that said employees only. I finally figured out it was walk up and drive through only. Normally love getting salads here, which are a good value at $5, but we noticed some possible shrinkflation yesterday. The amount of chicken was less & the salad didnt fill up the bowl like it used to. There was a lot of room remaining. I'm not sure if it's a one-off, or maybe just this location. But I usually get the same salad at the Tempe location multiple times a month & the bowls there were always filled to the top.
First time customer visiting from Missouri. Had never heard of this place before but only needed to hear one word - “lobster”. Got a warm lobster roll and it hit the spot! Wish we had these in Missouri!
