Boy-oh-boy how we love the food at Bavarian Point! His scampi is my favorite in Arizona. His scampi is better than almost every Italian restaurant between Phoenix and Tucson. My wife Lori loves his sausage lunches, open-faced Reuben and more traditional dishes. The Strudels are memorable. This is one of the best German restaurants I have ever been too. Good quality German food is not cheap and I am happy to spend my money here every time. Very authentic down to the last detail. My all time fave is the Sauerbraten. I'm calling them now to see if they are doing to go during covid.
This restaurant is run by a German chef and the food is the best I've had, including when we were on vacation in Germany! Do not expect this to be like a restaurant in the States, where it's rush, rush, rush. It is very European where you are expected to visit and take your time.
