“We came here during our vacation and the food was amazing. We had gyros and a Greek salad, and it was absolutely delicious. We are going to try to stop over and try something else. There is a little bit of a wait but that is only because everything is made fresh to order and you can taste it in their food. The fourth resturaunt I've been to so far and the best.“

“We’ve been going here for a very long time. I’ve noticed the managers are very stingy. I think it makes the other employees a bit uncomfortable. I’d hate my kids working there, it doesn’t seem like a good environment. However, the food is amazing and the portions are very good sized, usually. Every now and then I’ll be surprised by how little meat there is. Tonight my salad had no cheese or peppers but lots of meat. A little inconsistent. The shocker tonight was this though; we just got back from Greece last week and we’re missing gyros and baklava, so we ordered and I ordered baklava for the first time. Around $2.50, I thought “wow, Greece pricing!” (The food there was very affordable). I got it and my whole family laughed out loud. It was no joke, a 1”x1” square (see picture haha) So I certainly won’t order that again. But the one bite baklava was delicious. We always go back, but wish the cooks/managers were a little friendlier and the food was more consistent.“

“I love coming here for the Greek fries and shawarma. Lived down the road for coming up 6 years and finally moving away. I’m sad to go and try and find another Greek place. I truly hope more people come here to experience the food, the staff is always super nice and everything is clean. Consistently good, my friends here never fail me.“

“Wow ! This restraunt is the best greek restraunt in Arizona! The food is high quality ,fresh ,and an amazing variety! Tye desert is splendid! 😋butter lickin good ! Customer service is friendly and helpful ,they are professional! The cooks are cheerful and friendly! The girl taking the orders was helpful and kind ! “Was super excited to have found this place. I have been looking for that soup for a minute. Reminds me of Merakis in Vegas. First time soup was lukewarm and second time rice was lukewarm warm lol. If you can fix that then you will have a longtime client.“

“Easily my new favorite spot! Gyros are loaded with meat, overflowing, and packed with flavor. Gyro, chicken, or steak are all incredible. Pro tip: get it Firefighter style for a bit of extra and that spicy kick. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is spotless, and the service is always fast. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.“

“Ordered a Gyro sandwich. Meat was soft and melted in my mouth. Flavors were mild, yet tasty. Added Siracha which only enhanced the flavors. Would be nice if the sandwich was more in the $10 range, instead of $12.50, but prices are what they are these days and they have to run a business, so it's alright. Definitely will be coming back!
Oh, regarding the service, no issue really, but the counter person was all business. No greeting / chit-chat. She also served the food without much personality. No issue really, but a little positive energy goes a long way.“

“Spitz in DTC is hands down my favorite takeout spot! Seriously! Those pita strips must have Greek crack seasoning on them. My go to is always the medi bowl combo or the medi wrap. I’ve also had their remix bowl and gyros. Every single time the quality is excellent and consistent. The staff is friendly and orders are ready to go ASAP. Do yourself a favor and make Spitz your favorite takeout spot as well!“

“We used Opa for a catering order and had such a great experience! Angie was awesome to work with and was super patient, giving us great suggestions to help keep things within budget. We needed several different estimates along the way and she got them back to us very quickly. Even when we had a last minute time change for the order, the Opa team came in early to make it happen. The food was delicious and our whole group loved it. Service went above and beyond - highly recommend!“
