Food was excellent and delicious. So many plates to choose from at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was awesome. Whoever's Playlist that was playing over the speakers, with Hawaiian Reggae, was on point. My new favorite spot for Hawaiian Food 🤙
I read so many reviews about the kalbi and the chicken, that I had to get that combo. My friend did as well & it turns out she's been there several times before and loves it. So uh - yeah, the chicken was excellent- the short ribs are just on a whole other level. And I forget what they're called, but the donut things are wow - the sweetness, taste, texture, every aspect was top notch. The service is friendly, fast and they went the extra mile that says they genuinely...
I ordered the Kalua Pig and Garlic chicken plate lunch. The chicken was juicy and tender but was less crispy than I expected based on how it looks. The Kalua pig was quite smoky, I would say even too smoky as it seemed to overpower the pig. Mac salad was interesting, the right consistency but too much pepper for my liking. I'd go again but I would probably try something different. You can tell this place cares about the quality of their food and has potential to be excellent....
