“Really fantastic Korean spot here in Mesa. We enjoyed the spicy beef soup and spicy pork bulgogi tonight and they were both stellar. The homemade banchan is delicious too, with a standout being the excellent kimchi. I might go as far as to say that the spicy pork bulgogi was some of the best I've ever had. I very much enjoyed the unique smoky flavor. You can taste the freshness too.

The store offers a wide variety of Asian groceries, fresh produce, snacks, sauces, and specialty ingredients that make it a great place to explore new foods. “What a find! Open late and with some fun Korean food that isn't the standard traditional Koko fare (tteokbokki carbonara!). Spam kimchi pancake, stir friend udon with brisket and great company were amazing. Extremely good service and cool call buttons at the table so you're always well taken care of. Tall, comfortable booths, Korean music, wonderful staff and good vibes. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a younger person with fun parents/조부모님 (grandparents). Get that ancestor love time.“

“The side dishes are extremely flavorful and fresh. Vegs are nice and crunchy. Pair it with rice and make a quick meal. I had the bean sprouts and fish cakes with rice for dinner. Under $20 for 3 servings of dinner. Packaged in tubs so it can go into fridge for later use.“

“I really liked my food. Although I did order the spicy fried chicken and it wasn't spicy at all but perfectly cooked. The fries could have used a little more salt, they're kinda bland but I loved the texture of them, crispy. Also got the gangnam style wings and those were really good. “I've been coming to Hodori since my brother visited me around 2001 or so. I was extremely happy it was still open since I moved to Tucson in 2008 and have not been able to visit Hodori since then. This visit was Oct 7, 2026 and Hodori was exactly as I remembered which means terrific food, great service, and good atmosphere. You can tell a great Asian restaurant by the amount of Asians there -- Asians know good food! I was there for a weekday lunch at 11:30 and the place had about 40 diners, of which 37.5 were Asians. I'm half Asian, so there were two other non-Asians. The waitstaff were all Asians and they spoke a variety of Asian languages. One spoke Korean to a diner and another spoke Chinese. That is awesome even though I'm sure all the diners are able to speak English -- it adds to the Asian restaurant ambience.
I had the pork bulgogi dinner, which honestly, is the only thing I have ever ordered since it is super yummy. Their cabbage kimchi is soooooo good. I used to buy a jar of it to take home, yet I don't know if they still do that. I ate almost everything, minus some small side dish that was some sort of fish tasting thing, probably tofu in fish sauce. I don't like fish. A lot of food and I enjoyed it!
BTW a little tip. When you take a photo of your food, do not put your metal chopsticks on the sizzling hot metal plate, OUCH! You would think I would have known NOT to do that.“

“The staff is very lovely and nice. The food is very tasty. It’s a nice place for a few friends or the whole gang. It’s has a nice pub atmosphere but I really wouldn’t call it a pub. To me it’s a nice place to “Hang Out” with good friends. They serve Korean pub style food and they play Korean Music! But don’t take my word for it go see them! If you go with friends share ya food that’s the proper thing to do… just saying. Love you guys!“

“My friend and I make regular visits to The Stone Korean Tofu House. The food, service and cleanliness is unequaled. Their kimchi is the best in the valley. Everything on their menu is prepared with authenticity catering to the wonderfully diverse and delicious Korean cuisine.“

“This place is great and can make many of their dishes vegan, if asked! They are very careful and have many vegetarian customers. Great tasting authentic Korean food! “First time at a HotPot and it was great. Had the Solo pot with beef and dumplings and house broth. It had great flavor and was even better with a small spoon of chili oil/paste. Will definitely being friends and family here.“

“It’s been a long time since I’ve found a restaurant I’d definitely come back to.

First, the portions are incredibly generous- you definitely get great value for your money.

But what impressed me even more was the flavor. Too many restaurants rely on overly salty or heavy seasoning, and that’s often what leaves me feeling tired after eating out. Here, the food is well-balanced and tastes like a genuine home-cooked asian meal. It’s comforting, satisfying, and never overwhelming.

A new location recently opened close to our home, which is fantastic. I sincerely hope they continue to maintain this quality and consistency because we’ll definitely be coming back often.
