Food is good but service is horrible. All I wanted for Mother’s Day was a shrimp cocktail which I have had before and it was delicious & the portions are big when you eat at the restaurant. My husband ordered it to go. The portion was almost half & it was mainly octopus and NOT shrimp. I don’t like octopus -we ordered shrimp well…. it ruined my appetite. I called the restaurant and I started explaining the girl hung up on me. I called back and she said they are too...
We stopped here to grab a late lunch, in my opinion the food lacked in flavor, the seafood itself was bland, and it definitely was missing the lime that makes these mariscos locations stand out.
The food here is excellent. Hot, fresh, tasty, and a great value. We particularly enjoy the chicharonnes de pescado.
What really stood out, though, was the honesty and kindness of the staff. I lost my wallet here and didn't realize until later. When I came back about two weeks after, they had kept it safe and returned it with everything inside. That kind of integrity is rare and deserves recognition.
