3 stars for the atmosphere because of the neighborhood, but the food was great, the price is good, very efficient, clean, friendly young man working hard. I will definitely go back

This was a very good Mexican take out. Used to be a very service and you can see meat in whatever you ordered, when suddenly staff changed! We ordered the #14 chimichanga plate beef, and voila, no beef but peppers, onions and heavily fried beans and very think wrapper, I think they used two wrappers with it so it will look like a huge chimi! You cannot fool a regular customer and we know what we always get from this specific mex rest! We called and the new guys mid 20's was so rude and didn't want to give his name so we can report him to the management which maybe he thinks he done a terrible job. We are a regular customer here and we are very family with the the staff, this new guy claimed that he was the manager! Why would an owner make him a manager, he is ruining a good business and he even asked us to never come back. Sure! There are many Mexican foods out in Mesa, you are not the only one! Seranos is one and macayos also Garcia! Not our loss! Yours! Please see the food we ordered. See it for yourself!

We are a regular customer here, the service used to be good and the food. Until today employee changed I think! The new guy was so rude and not giving his name and claimed that he was the manager which I doubt. This was one of our favorite place to order a Mexican good. We come here almost every week for dinner to order a take out. Today is 03/17/2024 time we went there to order the chimichanga plate (beef) was 5:30 to 6:00pm. We came home and started eating our food, we found no beef inside and mostly just peppers, onions and beans and just a wrapper when we sliced it in the middle! We called and the guy was so rude and hung up the phone on us and asked us to never come back! He is new. This is the 1st time we see him there, he's description is Hispanic heavily tattooed guy mid or late 20's. The regular employee were a Mexican lady or the Mexican bald guy was very nice and probably in 40's of age. Owner of this place needs to get those employee back and remove this very rude guy. The food sucks and the service was terrible. We like the old employees. We will give the same review on all the business review platform, not trying to ruin this business but we just want the owner to notice this and take action. Better to take 1 bad apple than to ruin the whole basket of apples!

Service here is always stellar. I love snagging a horchatta. To be honest, most of the food is nothing special. The price is a little steep. The chimichangas would be better without the guacamole. It is so plain and detracts from the flavor. The rolled tacos are decent comfort food. But the enchiladas, those are fantastic. Again, the price is steep, but they are a pleasant mix of amazing flavor and a massive quantity. Overall, I'm glad to live down the road.

The Rolled tacos are the bomb! Although it isn't on the menu...they will make you a chorizo breakfast burrito if you ask...and you should.

The burrito I ordered was a California burrito. They told me the total was 11.50 but failed to tell me that if I paid with a card, they would charge an additional dollar and not give a receipt. I had to check my bank app. Burrito is pretty good, but intentionally charging my card more than I agree to pay with no sign on the window is illegal.

Total Institution. Roberto's has been open for at least 35 years that I know of. Didn't disappoint! Used to come here in college, same owners, same quality, same taste!Couldn't ask for more.Recommended to try for sure!Yes there are literally 42 other Mexican restaurants within a mile and a half but only 1 Roberto's and it's a guaranteed good meal. Open 24 hours btw!
Rolbertos has the best Mexican food on Main St. and NW Mesa. I’ve tried the other places and nothing beats Rolbertos when it comes to flavor. Great value for the price and super fast service. 10/10!And their open 24/7! Great late night spot as well.
