The seemingly simple menu is curated surrounding the high quality bakery items such as the bread of the sandwich’s and pastries. They have a fantastic selection of breakfast lunch and dinner options. As well as coffee and pastries.

The beyond bread bar is pretty high, so this is in comparison how their other locations fare. I think maybe this location is a little hobbled: I'm guessing they have to bring up bread daily (or whatever period of time), so they don't have ciabatta for sandwiches, but their focaccia is yummy! HOWEVER, for a couple decades now my favorite sandwich on the planet has been Brad's Beef on ciabatta -- it's perfectly and simply balanced: warm green chile and roast beef flavors tempered by a tiny onion crunch, just the right amount of different textures that you can really sink your teeth into, with the wonderfully crusty ciabatta that's both airy and chewy on the inside... perfection! -- however, however, however, they didn't have ciabatta, okay, I think I can work around that with focaccia, but not if the green chilies are *pickled*!?!! Picked vegetables are wonderful, but they are completely different beasts! Imagine a standard fish taco, but swap out the cabbage for sauerkraut: ew! Pickles on your eyelids instead of cucumber slices? It just doesn't work! I pulled off all the green chile slices, and then it was palatable, but definitely not Brad's Beef. 😭 Now I have to go to the ticket locations and see if it's a systemic thing or just localized.

Their chile corn chowder was yummy, though, and their Reuben was fine. I'll still go there for lemon bars, foosball, trees, and being able to sit outside during summer!

“A truly charming place with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The meals are simple yet absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to stop and stay awhile.”

So I got a hold of the corporate office about food safety concerns. I ordered a bunch of food expecting it to be just as good as the Broadway location. It wasn't. Most of my food tastes spoiled and dirty. My tuna sandwich had this weird tangy taste with an unusual chewy texture from the tuna. The Mac and cheese I ordered was crunchy with melted cheese on top. The baked goods I ordered were terrible. They weren't edible. I physically spit out most of what I ordered on the first bite. Corporate told me that they could not do anything about it because it's franchised. They told me they would get a hold of the owner. Be aware of potential food poisoning especially if you are camping. Employees are extremely nice. The dining area is clean as well as the bathrooms.

Parking can be very difficult to find, I recommend choosing an off day and time to visit. Great food and atmosphere , love eating on the deck. We love Mt. Lemon when it’s not crowded, and can’t stand it when it’s busy. Finding bathrooms can be a chore , not all places offer restrooms fyi.

Recently spent two nights in Summerhaven and BB is open seven days/week and the food is good. Service is very nice and friendly. It’s the slow season so unsure what it’s like during the summer. If you want quiche, get there before 8am.

Got an Espresso Brownie and a Lemon Bar and I shared it with my parents and a friend, and the vardict was the same with all of us. These were the sweetest Brownie and Lemon Bar we have ever had. And I don't mean that in a good way by any means. It was pure sugar and the zestiness of the lemon took a backseat to it in the bar, while the espresso taste was absent among the pounds of sugar in the brownie.

8 dollars for essentially sugar in a bar, is the worst I have spent in a long time. Too bad, I like the ambience of the place. I am guessing the sandwhiches are better. I will try one the next time.

Another note; the restrooms were pretty dirty. They have to be more on top of that. But shame on the people who can't use a bathroom without making a mess as well.

I'll be back for a sandwhich, but this visit was only worth 2 stars, all things considered.

We had brunch at Beyond Bread this morning after staying at the Mt. Lemmon Lodge. We ate on the porch. The food and service was great! The view and ambience was outstanding.

Probably the best eatery on the Mountain, but it's not nearly as veg/vegan friendly as your standard Beyond Bread location and the parking situation is an utter and absolute nightmare.

The parking situation is so bad that I have to dock a star for that alone. The businesses up here are getting pretty cut-throat with parking and it's hostile to tourists. I know this isn't really the businesses fault, but it still is quite the negative impact.

Vegetarian options: One vegan sandwich, that's it. Ovo-lacto is a bit better accomodated.
