Mt Lemmon Ski Valley Reviews
So much fun!!
Riding the ski lift off season is a family tradition. A nice break from the summer heat.
I absolutely love going up to Mount Lemmon for the nature even if it’s just for a day drive. It is so peaceful out there and there are so many different stops to visit such a monumental place if you want to get out of the Tucson heat. So many things to see, and now a lot of different places and restaurants to visit and there are a bunch of different shops available to go to and visit.

The Mt Lemmon Ski Valley offers a scenic and diverse mountain experience. The landscape changes dramatically, from cacti and sand to pine trees and snow at the top. The ski lift operates year-round, providing stunning views. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities, though the restaurant and lifts are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The area features a ton of hiking trails, though winter may not be the best time to try them due to potential closures. The drive up the mountain is very diverse and beautiful, and the local restaurant called Iron Door is a popular spot, though it may be closed depending on weather conditions.
The cable car ride to the mountain top is a 15-minute journey that can be entertaining, though those afraid of heights should take that into account. The weather can be chilly, even in December, and visitors may not find as much snow as expected due to the effects of global warming.
