Mount Lemmon in Tucson, Arizona, is a beautiful, serene getaway. As you ascend along the Catalina Highway, the landscape transforms from desert to alpine forest. At the top, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas, hiking trails, and even a cozy village with shops and restaurants. It’s a perfect day trip and a must visit for nature lovers.
Skiing can be decent to miss. Pleasant to visit other times. Cute little place to get coffee, snacks and enjoy the slope views. They run the lift for most part of the year to go to the top for a price.
Took Grandma for her Bday... Great day trip driving and exploring different areas. Gets a little chilly for the ladies at the top.. Them slim girls bring a jacket or sweater even in April. 35 mph all the way up... its a good idea to just bring some extra patience with driving. It's a blast on a motorcycle.
