It's not a huge menu. It's not a complex menu. But everything is done really well. I had the equivalent of a French dip. The meat was so tender and the whole thing very tasty.

Great food! Great views! Super staff.

The wait-list was not handled well which contributed to a very long wait time. The restaurant was also understaffed. They also didn't have a table for a group of 8 and we just got seated at two four tops next to each other.

The food was fine but fairly bland especially the Jay's Chicken which appeared to be a spicy option but wasn't - at all. A number of the items served appeared to be just basic store bought items such as salsa my group all agreed was just a jar of pace.

Mountain top view. Very good!

Sadly we were unable to experience The Iron Door as even their large outdoor deck area allows only service dogs.
Unfortunately most of the restaurants
on Mt Lemmon do not allow dogs.

The mountain berry and peach personal pie with ice cream is my favorite.

They had us waiting forever to get a table, they said 45 mins and it was 1 hr and 20 mins and we were still standing waiting for our table. People that got there after us was seated before. The young male host was very rude to some of my friends asking who were they with and he was literally kicking other people that had just arrived out of the restaurant, telling them they were going to close in 30 mins and didn’t even let them buy a beer. I am definitely not going back to this place.

Great homemade food with mountain cabin vibes! I got the bbq chicken sandwich and it was super tender and tasty, but desperately needed salt (I never am one to add salt but had to). The crumble pie was one of the better pies I’ve ever had, so that’s worth it! I thought their chili was a tad over salted and too much cumin for my preference.

Everyone seemed to like their meal and I’d come back if we visited Tucson again!

Everyone was polite and everything came out in decent time, that's why I feel bad writing this, but the food was just bland, definitely not fresh. Coffee tasted like they hadn't cleaned the machine in a while, or the pot had been left out overnight. Creamers they brought out were actually spoiled with soggy lids. To top it all off the toilet was filthy. Just seems like there's a lack of care going on here that people should be aware of, maybe it's just during the summer

Spent the weekend with friends at their cabin on Mt. Lemmon. Went for breakfast at the Iron Door before embarking on a hike down to Marshall Gulch. The Iron Door has an agreement with Ski Valley across the street to offer discounted lift tickets (ask the wait staff for details) which we used for the ascent to begin our hike.

When it’s over 100°F in the valley, the cooler mountain air and surrounding greenery are much appreciated and breakfast on their balcony patio is a great way to take it all in, abundant hummingbirds flittering about. The balcony has a lattice wood covering which attenuates the bright sunlight (and makes your photos look a bit wonky) — bring your sunglasses anyway.

Four of us dining. The orders included 1) a Cheese & Veggie Omelet ($15.51), 2) Two Eggs & Meat/Bacon ($13.44), 3) Black Forest Breakfast with Strudel ($17.58) and I ordered 4) the Hungry Man with a brat and pancakes ($18.62). According to the receipt, they source their coffee ($4.65) from Tucson’s own Coffee X Change. Total with tax, pre-tip, came to $74.06, with tip over $20/person. Everyone in the party enjoyed the meal; a very nice experience.
