If your looking for a drink at the north rim this is your only choice. No option for food except go across to the deli and bring something back to the Saloon. We had one drink here and then took our 2nd to go and went and sat on the balcony at the Lodge and admired the view in the adirondack chairs.
Friendly bartenders and very quick and personable service. Decent selection of local beers and drinks. I had the prickly pear mule on one visit and had a Piehole Porter to go with my elk chili on another visit and was very satisfied both timed. I'd highly recommend getting food from Deli in the Pines and drinks from here over lunch or dinner in the main dining room, which has disappointed me on multiple occasions.

This place is the best! The service was fast and very friendly. The coffee and burrito was the best I have ever had and the seating area was warm and cozy. They open at 5:30 am. We had breakfast and then hit the trail for R2R.
