“This place is the best! The service was fast and very friendly. The coffee and burrito was the best I have ever had and the seating area was warm and cozy. They open at 5:30 am. We had breakfast and then hit the trail for R2R.”

“First afternoon I had the Elk chili per other recommendations. It was good, very on point for style and tasted great. I also belched it up for like 2 hours after. Maybe the spices, idk, but I don't usually have that happen. Second night I was gonna have brisket, out of that at 7pm, same with pork. Reluctantly got two slices of pepperoni pizza against other reviewers recommendations. It was actually pretty good. What I would expect anyway. Maybe I got lucky, it had just came out. It's pretty filling, two slices are a meal. Much more food for less than the chili cost too.As far as the venue goes it doesn't have much style or atmosphere. Dated and out of style for the rest of the lodge area, but it's just a cheap (relatively) eats place.”
