We have been dreaming of visiting the Danzeisen Dairy Creamery store for a very long time, and we finally were able to after a detour from Show Low. What a wonderful little store this is! Jordan was the amazing man behind the counter. He made our malt and ice cream treats with the biggest smile on his face. We asked him if they had butter for sale there. He said at the moment, no, but that he would be happy to make some if we waited about half an hour. We played a game that was...
We got the Salted Carmel and the Seasonal Churro sundaes. Ice cream is so flavorful, milky, soft and made in store. The toppings were chef's kiss. Definitely getting your money's worth here. We got the sundae and the left over in the mixing cup. Two sundaes were plenty for our family of 5. We even had leftovers. Will definitely come again in our next trip up north.
Cody in Payson had a very warm and friendly demeanor. Love how they had Christian music playing in their store. I'm grateful they noted if the product had soy, nuts or eggs in it, as I do not eat soy. I had the coffee ice cream with a banana I brought and it was divine. It's a must for local ice cream when in Payson. God bless.
