Ended up driving this way from Roosevelt lake up to the rim because of a fire restriction. Drive from the. Alley was much longer, but the small oasis of Jake’s Corner was a great place to stop, have a snack and a drink, before heading further up to cooler weather. Staff were great and attentive. Looks like it is busy when the heat is not so intense so people ride their motorcycles up there. Take a dollar bill and write something on it and staple it to the ceiling or walls to commemorate your visit. We did!

Jake’s Corner Bar is perfect for a Saturday breakfast if you’re in Phoenix and don’t mind driving about an hour each way. The food hits the spot, the vibe is super chill, and it’s a great little escape from the city. Definitely worth the drive.

Definitely worth driving the extra miles past this place and go into Payson for better options. Stay away from the chili it tasted like dirt and it wasn't even heated up. The tea had the molded old taste. Very disappointed.

Waited over an hour for a chicken sandwich that ended up being cold when i got it and ended up being a small chicken finger that tasted burnt on a stale bun that fell apart. There where only 12 customers there. This place used to be decent, for 19 dollars ill go elsewhere.
