Good fish n chips in Payson, happy we stopped to check it out. We also got shrimp and all the food was delicious. For those who don’t like seafood they have hamburgers. Highly recommend!

This place has some great food options! We had fish and crab cakes with fries. Breading on the fish was absolutely perfect! We will definitely come back here again when visiting Payson.

Stopped here on a whim, after hiking at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, and it did not disappoint. The owners Mike & Marcia were fantastic and graciously allowed us to tweak our order. The food was not only hot and fresh, but also delicious! Their staff was also great and you can tell they love working there. The restaurant was clean and the booths were built in under cedar shingle awnings which gave the seating areas a cozy and inviting vibe. We are already planning on stopping again on our next visit through Payson.

We were passing through Payson and decided to stop here for lunch. I must admit, this was some pretty good fish and chips, and it exceeded my expectations. The hush puppies and fried mushrooms were really good too. The service was exceptional as well. We will definitely have to swing back in here the next time we're passing through!

Upon entering the cozy family restaurant, I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere. The warm ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful meal.The menu boasted a wide variety of options, but I opted for their signature dish: fish and chips. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and coated in a crispy batter that was simply mouthwatering. The vinegar and tartar sauce was so good. Paired with perfectly cooked fries, it was a match made in culinary heaven.

I ordered what I always have ordered over the years at "Mikes Fish and Chips ":yesterday Feb 22,2024. It was delicious! Mike talked with me about the hamburgers they have,Very popular from what I understand. So I decided to come back the next day and see what all the rage was about. Mike was right! GREAT HAMBERGER! I have never seen such small portions in my life. However the food tasted delicious but the pieces of fish were about the size of a golf ball each and I counted my French fries on my plate when I got it and there were 14 French fries. And the cost was expensive it was about 20 bucks. I most likely will never go back.

Very nice staff, they try hard to keep the place looking good.Sorry, but the fish was overcooked and the clams were way over cooked.and the coleslaw was advrage. If I go again I'll try shrimp or oysters hopefully they won't be overcooked.
