I went in with pretty high expectations as this restaurant was recommended to me. I had the fish and chips with the mushroom appetizer. The food wasn't what I was expecting but it was still OK. One of daughters had the chicken sandwich and the other had the burrito but neither would recommend it. As far as portion size, it wasn't huge but you are ordering by the number of pieces of fish. The whole experience was great. The food ....omg top tier. We eat out and try many places. Our food was cooked perfectly. We had fish,clams,shrimp and chips w/coleslaw. EVERYTHING was so yummy. The coleslaw though.....seriously by far the best yet. Thanks for filling our bellys with amazing food. You dont get the type of all around service when you go out to eat very much anymore :( so,When we find good food we make sure we rate them. :)
We go to mikes fish and chips every time we’re in Payson. We’ve actually driven up from Tempe just to go to Mike’s! Absolutely delicious! Super friendly staff every time. Feels family run. Very cool decor. We love eating on the patio, it feels like you’re on a dock!
