The mural in the dining room to the right side is really cool, and so are the stained glass windows. The brisket hash on the breakfast menu is excellent. We also ate on the pub side in the afternoon and the pizza and jalapeño poppers were delicious and perfect for sharing. The pizza crust had that crispy crunch and air bubbles that only a real pizza oven gives you. Built in restaurants at hotels can be pedestrian to awful, and it's clear Zane Grey's is working hard...
I ordered the steak, which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes—it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, if not the best. After that, we decided to try the chocolate cake with ice cream, and it absolutely lived up to the meal—just wow. The staff was amazing, too.
Zane Grey BBQ made our wedding reception at Kohl's Ranch unforgettable with their absolutely delicious food! We had three types of BBQ meat and BBQ cauliflower for our vegetarian/vegan guests, squash, salad, and mashed potatoes and for dessert- peach cobbler and ice cream. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked, but the brisket was the star—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The team was professional, punctual, and made the whole catering experience seamless....
