I ordered 2 fish dinners and the portions was great! My mother especially enjoyed the Swai fried fish and I enjoyed the catfish! Seasoned just right and the greens was the B-O-M-B!! Thank you for a great Friday Fish Fry! YES this is definitely " A TASTE OF THE SOUTH"!! I'll be going back!!
Finally found some good soul food in the Phoenix area. The fish, black eye peas, coleslaw, & cornbread were fresh & flavorful.
For the price of 15$ its so worth it! my grandson always seen this place on google, and since its so close by we finally tried it we WILL FOR SURE be back soon!! the food is amazing and full of flavor, not only is the food amazing but its the first time we've ever tried soul food and we're glad it was here!! 5 stars for me!!! Definitely a place to check out if your in the area.

Tasting Soul Food offers a warm and welcoming dining experience, serving delicious dishes like the popular Fish & Shrimp Platter with Mac n Cheese and Green beans, Brisket, Greens, Yams, and Mac & Cornbread. Meals are available for a reasonable and affordable price of $15, which includes dessert, cornbread, pop, 2 sides, fish and Shrimp. The catfish is the best, and the potato salad is incredible, tasting like that southern after funeral plate potato salad. The owners are great people, warm and inviting.
