I’ve known this place since the late ’90s. I used to dine here often, but eventually stopped coming. My last visit was back in 2013. Out of curiosity, I decided to stop by for lunch.
Everything looked the same familiar faces, same atmosphere, and that classic not-so-friendly greeting: “How many? Sit here!” (lol).
I ordered my usual lunch special sesame chicken. The price is still reasonable: $10 for egg drop soup, rice, an egg roll, a deep-fried wonton, and the main dish.
The taste was almost exactly as I remembered it. The service hasn’t changed either your typical Chinese restaurant style: brisk, efficient, maybe a little rough around the edges. They sound rude, but they’re really not. It’s just part of the charm.

The food was okay. Some of the stuff tasted like facet water. The short haired lady was very rude and seemed upset. They said come in and have a seat where ever you like. The moment I was sitting down they said no not there. Ummm okay. I doubt I’ll be back.

My family has been eating at Big King since at least 2002 the food is wonderful and the portions are really good sized and it's got a nice atmosphere. They have big tables where you can have multiple family members. They have good appetizers and their main dishes are wonderful. They also have to-go orders. it's just a really wonderful place to get food especially if you love Chinese.

Food is always good and has been for years. My family always does take out. In recent years they have become very stingy about sauces...meaning soy,mustard and chili. In our order the other day they told my husband the sauces were in the bag already and that he would be charged .25 if he wanted more chili. We had purchased several entrees and spent $30.00 or so. Why not throw in another chili per customer ask. When we got home there was no chili at all. I don't understand why they are such cheapskates when it comes to condiments...didn't you just make $30.00 off me. Why are they so hassled by this and yes this has been an ongoing occurrence. BIG HENG STOP BEING SO CHEAP!

Worse Chinese I ever had. Zero customer service no authenticity whatsoever!! Beef and broccoli beef tasted like it was left out White rice was half cooked the orange chicken was gristley. Don’t recommend this place. Definitely won’t be going here ever again!
