Very plain. Nothing special, unfortunately. The egg drop soup tasted weird like a hint of formaldehyde. Emperor's Chicken was not good.

Big Heng has for years been the gold standard for Chinese food. Sadly that is no more. As you enter in the staff that greeted us were super friendly, but the walk to the well worn booth exposed unsightly boxes everywhere. Once we placed our order, the time to get our food was much longer than a made from scratch dish should take, when the place was nearly empty. As for the food quality, i ordered the Emperor Chicken, and it was uneatable. I would never thought i would see the day i would throw away 1/2 or more of any of their dishes. Outside of the low food quality, the dish didn’t even match the menu description. I’ve been going here far too long to just stop, but i also don’t see myself paying for food so bad most of it gets thrown away. Clean and organize the dining area, and use at least average quality food.

Love Big Heng's! and have going for six years. Pleasant, fast service, quality Chinese at an affordable price. The restaurant is usually always over half full.

I’ve known this place since the late ’90s. I used to dine here often, but eventually stopped coming. My last visit was back in 2013. Out of curiosity, I decided to stop by for lunch.

Everything looked the same familiar faces, same atmosphere, and that classic not-so-friendly greeting: “How many? Sit here!” (lol).

I ordered my usual lunch special sesame chicken. The price is still reasonable: $10 for egg drop soup, rice, an egg roll, a deep-fried wonton, and the main dish.

The taste was almost exactly as I remembered it. The service hasn’t changed either your typical Chinese restaurant style: brisk, efficient, maybe a little rough around the edges. They sound rude, but they’re really not. It’s just part of the charm.

The food was okay. Some of the stuff tasted like facet water. The short haired lady was very rude and seemed upset. They said come in and have a seat where ever you like. The moment I was sitting down they said no not there. Ummm okay. I doubt I’ll be back.

My family has been eating at Big King since at least 2002 the food is wonderful and the portions are really good sized and it's got a nice atmosphere. They have big tables where you can have multiple family members. They have good appetizers and their main dishes are wonderful. They also have to-go orders. it's just a really wonderful place to get food especially if you love Chinese.
