Went for Taco Tuesday special which is a good deal. I had shredded beef / chicken tacos and they really tasted good BUT had to drain them first. Everything is sloppy wet which I don't care for but if you're okay with that- this place is for you. Only enough seats for about 10 people inside & feels crowded. Can sit outside if you want.
Every time I order a burrito it's either super soggy because they don't drain the meat, even after you repeat that to them multiple times (This is Cafe Rio in general, not this location specifically.) So I ordered a steak burrito this time to see if I could have a burrito that I could actually eat without having to just in a bowl. Can you guess what happened after the first bite? First time here today, April 23, 2025, and it was not something I'd be jonsing for again.
The bowl was just thrown together by the young guy making it, young guy, curlyfluffy hair. He lumped everything to one side pretty much. Didn't seem like he wanted to be there, and didn't really care.
The food was okay. Wasn't great. I won't be going back. Chipotle is better abd closer.
