Horrible service and management. We waited for 45 mins then were told they had a table for us OUTSIDE. We said we want to sit inside. The bald manager short guy pivoted from flirting w hostesses and said there is a heater and we could go outside or wait. Our daughter with Autism waited 30 mins past her normal dinner time and was very anxious. Also she has allergies and gets sick outside near cold. Regardless on how they want to treat us...we wanted to sit inside. There were plenty of open seats. Staff talking and on their phones. We left immediately. Sad we know the owners and never said anything

This place is overpriced for its quality. 20 dollars for a Cadillac margaritas and plane ceviche where clearly the shrimp was nowhere near marinated in lemon and I definitely wouldn't call it ceviche. Maybe an imitation version of ceviche. This place is definitely not where you find authentic Mexican food. I literally observed workers testing out drinks they were creating or trying to add to their list the entire time sitting at the bar. The time I waited for my two appetizers seemed long in my opinion.

Food is My Passion! Great Mexican in North Peoria. Ordered the carne asada burrito Guerrero style and it was very good. It was also enough for the wife and I to split. The must have item is the charred pineapple salsa which is free but you have to ask for it. Restaurant is clean and the ambiance is inviting. Our server Madi did a very nice job for only being here for 2 months. Overall this is Mexican I can recommend. We will be back. Break, Break, frozen pineapple Margherita was awesome.

We tried this place a few weeks ago. Overall, it has a nice variety of Mexican options. We ordered the Queso Elote which had a little kick but still a nice filling dip before your meal. It's on the thicker side but it won't harden up right away. That's a plus!! It's perfect with the chips that arrive at the table. The restaurant also has separate salsas that you can order besides the standard. I really enjoyed the pineapple salsa. It's dark, but has a wonderful sweet taste to it. Great with the salty chips. I ordered the gringo tacos. Yup, not a big fan of spice, but great to have that option. I wish I could say they were just like standard hard shell tacos, but there was a lot of grease on my plate. I tried the carnitas and barbacoa. You had to really eat over the plate to prevent oil from getting in your clothes. This would not be something I would recommend for the future. I would just stick to street tacos. My husband had the huevos rancheros. This is a solid dish for him. This visit he tried it with scrambled eggs and it was OK, but he would recommend over easy for your eggs. Also, if you can get tortillas on the side instead of in the dish, it will be a nicer dish. Overall, a good meal. I will just make sure to tweak my order a bit. It's a great place and is very decorative. A great list of drinks to get as well. I highly recommend making reservations on their website to keep the wait to a minimum.

Went in there tonight. Seated in the bar area. Then they proceeded to seat a mother with her two children next to us. The boy playing video games on an iPad and the girl watching some movie on an iPhone. So a few things: Why does a restaurant seat children in the bar area?? 2nd, why are children on electronics at dinner? To the mother: How about having a conversation with your children? No, instead she lets them keep their faces in the electronics with the volume loud! No care in the world that others are trying to talk and enjoy their meal. She had no control of these kids to get them to discuss and order or when the food arrived, get them to put down the electronics and eat. This is not Chuck E. Cheese! Keep your kids at home, go to Chuck E. Cheese or how about interacting with them! There was another couple with a child seated on the other side of us and then at the low are at the actual bar was a Father and his child. What happened to bar areas NOT seating or allowing children in them??!! Jesus! ! It was a daycare! This place needs to seat children in the dining area and not the bar! WTH!! Definitely not a good experience, will not return.

This is a great authentic restaurant. It is not blow your socks off good but it is never bad. Super consistent and great atmosphere. My favorite thing is the variety of salsas. Gotta get some verde (very garlicky) and charred pineapple. Awesome that it is not just hot and mild.

Food and service is always extremely. I love your food and would like to order 3 carne asada tacos with flour tortillas and also queso dip with your chips and that sounds good for new?

Good food & service at a fair price. One of the nicer spots in the area. 5 star is next level so can't just hand that out but a solid 4.

They were super busy. I was afraid it might take longer, however everything was perfect. They had plenty of staff and handled the rush perfectly. Our drinks were refreshing and refills were on time, glass never emptied. They have so many yummy options of salsas. The food came pretty quickly, so quickly I had to wait a little for it to cool before eating. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Tried this place for the first time. I have Celiac so had to be picky with where to eat. They make the chips first thing every morning so they're not cross-contaminated and safe. They also make their own salsa and it is, by far, the best salsa I've had in a Mexican restaurant. The tacos are great, most are GF, the enchiladas, as well. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to food allergies. I have now eaten here a dozen times since I started drafting my review. I have introduced this place to quite a few people, too. Definitely recommend it to everyone. The chips and salsa are so good that I really struggle with stopping myself from getting full before my food arrives, haha.

I received a gift card from a co-worker, so I took a great friend here for his birthday. We got there around 8pm... And you could tell it was getting close to closing time. I was a little apprehensive, expecting reheated plates and grumpy staff at the end of their day...... BOY WAS I EVER WRONG!!! ? THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Had 1 margarita, excellent! And service was STELLAR! Definitely go here again and again! ❤️?

lunch was bad today. been a regular for awhile and have been getting worse service and worse food for the last few visits. today ordered fish tacos, shrimp and grilled. the shrimp had 3 small shrimps, past trips was 5 or so. the grilled was delivered deep fried after 18 minute wait. salsa was terrible, heavily peppered and hot, it was intended to be mild, was not. Server was not good. we have had her in the past so we had low expectations. she talked non stop and was always there when we didn't need her, not there when we did. she dropped of food and before she left the table, asked how it tasted. kinda hard to know she she just gave it to us. we will not go back.
