Solid spot for street tacos... The barbacoa is slow roasted and seasoned perfectly, grilled shrimp were fresh jumbos that were reminiscent of the Baja style. The pescado stole the show, had that Encinitas flavor, the fish was very fresh and grilled just the way it should be. Service was attentive and professional but as a retired chef I have to give an extra star to the kitchen crew, you people have it dialed in. We'll be back with friends next time.

Today’s lunch was carnitas burritos, wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with Spanish rice and black beans. I ordered two—one for me and one for my boyfriend. He ate his whole burrito, and I ate half of mine because the portions were a good size!
The carnitas not only smelled amazing, but they tasted delicious! 🤤 The flavor and portion size were definitely on point.
My only suggestion would be to include a side of salsa to pair...

Everything is great -- except the food. Taramuhara's in Norman, Oklahoma blows this place away by several factors. We find it funny that we can get better Mexican food in Oklahoma than we can in Arizona. We have been to many places here and all are sub-par for authentic Mexican food.
