This was my first visit to China Grill. I was moderately impressed because it looks like just your everyday strip mall hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but inside it opens up into another room. The service was fast and friendly, and my go-to meal of shrimp in lobster sauce was well prepared and fast to the table. The portion was good sized and when the server saw I'd picked the carrot slices out because I couldn't chew them, he said to order it without carrots next time....
China Grill has been around since I was a kid. It used to have other names and located in different places but this is their home not very close to me. I go out of my way to come and get twice cooked chicken and yui shan pork. It is so good so worth coming for. Any chance I get.
We've been here a handful of times over the years and always a great experience and delicious food. In-laws were in town so we took them here for dinner several nights ago. One of our kids has a peanut allergy and we made it clear, and they were able to accommodate. Everything we got was delicious. Service was amazing, all wait-staff is super attentive.
