As someone from New York, I have to say Don’s NY Pizza in Peoria absolutely nailed it! I ordered a classic cheese pie, and it was like a slice of home. The crust had that perfect foldable texture, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the cheese was spot on. It’s authentic New York-style pizza done right, and I couldn’t be more impressed. If you’re craving real NY pizza in Arizona, Don’s is the place to go!

This place used to be pretty good, food and service wise, but today was without a doubt one of the worst service experiences. You guys were slow AF, over an hour for 2 dinners and a med pizza. I watched as the pizza was left on the stove for over 30 minutes getting cold. Don't know why the dinners took so long? Another 30 minutes?? And then here's the topping on the cake ... after the dinners were finally done, the dude hands me my order, then says: Oh, let me go get the salads. At this point, my fun meter was pegged and walked out. I wasn't about to wait another 30 minutes or so for 2 salads! I get home, the pizza is COLD and the dinners were comparable to a frozen dinner you heat up from the grocery store, it would have been cheaper too! You guys need to get your shit together if you're going to charge $16 for a 3" x 3" piece of lasagna that taste like a Stouffers frozen dinner!!

I ordered 2 pieces of pizza and a drink. As long as I waited I would have thought my pizza would have been hot but it was cold. Literally cold. It wasn't like my 1st visit I'm at a lost for words because of the time I waited and cold results.

First time coming to this place!!! The pizza was amazing and cheesy! I would like the crust to have more flavor not just a crust but that's just my opinion. The price is reasonable!! However, the cooks need to wear nets i was lucky that I didn't get hair but to what I saw definitely could happen! other then that this restaurant is 8/10

Rude, unprofessional & bad service overall !! This was our first & last time ever @ Don's. Good Customer service is a must in the service industry & Don's NY Pizza Peoria gets an absolute "0" in the service category. We will take our business where the service,food & prices are a much better value
Joe came into my workplace cussing me out because he had ordered the wrong product. I offered him a refund or an exchange and he was unhappy with either option. He said that I should have informed him that the product did not include an extension chain (he ordered it online, not in store, therefore I could not have informed him even if I wanted to). He was extremely rude to me and continued his mean and very personal comments towards me even after a manager got involved. He continuously told me how he owned this pizza place and how he would never treat his customers this way. I used to eat at this place all the time until this encounter with him. I’m disappointed that someone who “owns” a business can come into someone else’s place of business and treat them so horribly. I would not recommend this place due to my encounter with Joe. Please be kind to others. Especially minimum wage workers who are just trying to keep everyone happy.

I have been here many times and I loved it. My boyfriend and I went last night for the first time in a while. I do not know if there is a new owner or what but it is definitely not the same. We only ordered wings/fries this time and I even made a special request to make them crispy. They were so undercooked, we ate one and took them home to put them in the air fryer to cook some more. I was super tired and just did not have the energy to complain. About 2 months ago we also ordered wings for take out and they were the same not good like they used to be. We definitely will not be back

I get all my big events here and tonight we put an order in not for a big order and it’s 30 mins past the time and no food… no apologies from the owner and he was here making pizzas . The staff at the phones don’t know what they are doing . I did to go and I’m taking 100 orders at one time and we were more organized then this. I’m sorry I’ve been faithful to you guys but I gotta find a new place that has their staff and kitchen in line

As a longtime customer I didn't want to believe the recent reviews but it's true Don's has lost their way. New York style is thin crust but not paper-thin, it loses the tender texture of a good pizza crust. With Ray's gone (sold, horrible quality now) you guys are our last hope in town for some good pizza. You say the owner still works with you, ask them for help. I know you can turn it around and keep the loyal customer base they built from slowly trickling away. I'll try again in a month or so and update this review.
