This place should've stayed closed. It used to be a staple restaurant for my family. However, the prices have SOARED and the service has PLUMMETED since the new management took over. They wanted to charge $3 to add cheese to a burrito, and their burritos already cost around $14 on average now. The lady who took my order was also super rude and obviously didn't want me there. Then sat at the window for a good amount of time with nobody answering before just driving away since they didn't want to help me. Save yourself the headache. This place needs to close and allow something good to take its place.

Under new management and NO BUENO! It is 3 to 5 dollars more now for each meal, its more then Top Shelf or normal resteraunts that are sit down amd give u chips and salsa. We drove away without ordering noway those prices arw justified for a drive thru .Give us the old management back! I just want to add as far as what I've seen it is just THIS ONE Filibertos ,the other ones are still fairly priced

The reopening was great, except they have no deals. The prices are insane, who goes to filibertos and pays $20+ for a single meal? If youre gonna take over an old spot, at least keep some of the deals.

Won't be frequenting this place ever again. New management? Looks like they're in need of New Management.
Let me start by saying I loved this place. So much so that I stopped to get a breakfast burrito on my way to work this rainy Saturday morning. And enjoy when our family gets food from here for dinner.
Never again! Perhaps a different location. Never here.

After ordering my $13 breakfast burrito plus taxs, I informed the smug rude woman working the drive-thru that I had a 50 cent off any burrito coupon. Yes 50¢.
She stated there no longer accepting those coupons
I Inquired as to if it was still filibertos and informed her that it is still within the valid redemption dates.
Which she states they have new management.
I double checked that it was the still the same franchise, in the same location and within the date to make their advertisement valid.
She confirmed it was, and that they have new management for the franchise and they're no longer honoring their advertisement or commitments.
At which point I voided my order and left went to brushfire across the street for half the price.
50 cents, and myself, my wife, or our children will no longer patronize your business, embarrassingly that's over $60 a transaction, not simply over 50 cents, but because unethical business practices seem to flourish even more outside of the customer's knowledge.
Please remember people when these businesses will illegally falsely advertise to save 50 cents. What else are they doing?
Are you going to get half the size of burrito because they save a lot more per transaction by skimping? Are you going to receive mostly vegetables and potatoes in your burritos because it is cheaper than meat and cheese?
If you do get some meat in there is it going to be nothing but fat or sub quality grissly meat because it's cheaper?
Yeah rather than play that game we would rather support another local business that does not support or have representing them rude liars.
Good riddance, every corner for miles of here sells some type of Mexican food. Time to start spreading the money away from this place

Super Nachos don’t have meat anymore which is disappointing.
Still the same delicious food as 6 years ago.
Prices have about doubled from 10 years ago.
They no longer accept those 50-cent off coupons.

I had been coming to Filiberto’s for some time, but unfortunately, the experience hasn’t been the same since the new ownership took over. The food and salsa don’t taste as fresh or flavorful as they used to, and the overall quality has definitely declined. On top of that, the prices have gone up quite a bit — $15 for a burrito feels unreasonable compared to what it used to cost.

TONIGHT 8/20/2025 - 8/21/2025 was the literal BEST food I have ever gotten from Filiberto’s on 83rd. I’ve lived in the area for 20 YEARS and normally this is the location I avoid. Whoever is working today needs recognition, 10 out of 10 !! Thank you so much, everything was hot and delicious and cooked thoroughly, tender and yummy. Customer service AND SAUCE was on POINT. Total redemption for this spot

Since this location reopened, the customer service in the Drive-Thru has been exceptional. Especially at late at night. The food is still overpriced, but where is it not at this point?
Genuinely happy they reopened, and it seems to be whoever's in charge is making the right decisions!
