First time at this restaurant. We had reservations and my family was seated immediately. We arrived at 5:40 and no one came to our table until 6:05! It was the manager who finally came and asked us what we wanted to drink. He said the waitress would be coming. 10 minutes later she finally came to take our orders. When our dinners arrived, one of the orders was put in wrong and after the waitress said it would be "fast tracked", it still didn't come for over 10 minutes until we spoke again with the manager. My wife loved the filet mignon. I enjoyed the twin lobster tails, however, they were supposed to be 5-6 oz. each, but I don't think there was that much lobster. I had spoken enough to the manager, so I didn't want to ask him about it. Not sure we will return.

It's a new place here in the West Valley. We were delighted about how delicious the sushi was. We have only been here several times, and each time was a pleasant experience. Sushi and our appetizer were so flavorful. We sat outside. Enjoyed the scenery and the lovely weather. My favorite was the Tropical Island. It was all pretty pretty good.

They have the best sushi! The Sunlight and Friends with Benefits rolls were hands down the best sushi rolls we've had. You must try if you love sushi. The fried rice was really good too. The bartenders were friendly and made us yummy cocktails. I will go back to try the teppanyaki dishes!

Overall lovely experience. Our servers Hannah and Stevie were friendly and attentive. Our chef Jessie aka Tom cruise was entertaining, interactive, funny and of course made great food. Highly recommend we had a great time for our aunts birthday. We were a big party and had lots of birthday wishes and the manager also checked in.

Had a blast here! Our server and cook were awesome and engaging. The food was amazing! I think it's the best steak I've had at any hibachi, it was cooked to perfection. The pineapple dole whip at the end was delicious! Beautiful restaurant, will definitely go back.

The decor was nice and I liked the patio bar. Food was disappointing, my steak and calamari had no flavor as it way over salted. They had too many tables in there and you couldn’t hear anything. I’ve been to other places like this that were not this noisy. After the chef left, we had to hunt someone down for our so-so desert and our check. Would not recommend.

My lord everything here is perfect. The teppan show was super fun and engaging, the waitress was very nice and attentive, and, most importantly, the food was incredible. It's so weird but I think my favorite was the fried rice. I will be coming back as often as possible! We got the new York strip steak and salmon.

Went with friends for their birthday. My husband and I normally go to Flemmings for our anniversary and all, but this place has replaced it! Everything, even the fried rice, was heaven. Make sure you go during happy hours for drinks and apps. They have happy hour for teppanyaki too I belive Fri to Sunday until 4:45pm. Make sure to get a reservation and ask specifically for a teppanyaki table, or you'll get a regular table. They will seat you with another party if your group is 5 people or less because the seating is big. It was really cool because we got to chat and hang out with a big and loud group of dudes for their buddy's birthday. They were really cool, though. Now the food, it's great. We got NY strip and salmon combo. All entrees come with a side of shrimp, which are 2 jumbo and meaty shrimp pieces, mushroom soup, fried rice, small salad, and a small scoop of Dole whip for dessert. The steak and salmon were mouthwatering. The chef was so funny and made a great show and had us all in stitches. Ten out of ten for sure.

Fine dining meets Teppanyaki. Hands down the best teppan experience you'll find. Everything about Kasai is top notch. The chefs are amazing and entertaining. The entire restaurant is a vibe. Everybody is attentive and focused on customer experience. They have raised the bar on the entire teppanyaki experience.

This place is definitely worth the price. The experience is also a great vibe and food is top notch in the large selection of Asian fare let alone teppan. Forewarning that this is not your typical teppan spot as you will be paying a bit more of a premium here but it is worth the price in my opinion. I ordered the steak and scallops and the chef got the scallops perfectly cooked / seared on the outside and sashimi grade soft inside. The steak was delicious and the sides combined with the sauces serve to be some of best teppan fair I have had outside of LA and here in AZ. The service is great and never had to ask for a refill and the server was always noticing when drinks ran low. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and was very impressed We cannot wait to go back for the next special occasion.
