Great location.However, as a restaurant owner, this restaurant suffers from lack of kitchen standards. Our server had made the comment that if they let people go, they would have to close the doors. However, I would put it from a different perspective that if they don't let people go.The food will end up closing the doors. By no means do not misunderstand me, I would most definitely go back. The people are very nice here. The Texas burger tasted really good with the burger, cheese, and grilled onions. I also got a salad that is big enough for two people to share. They were really nice to refill our coffees and even offer a cookie on a stick for our baby daughter. I reccomend this Cafe!
The food is good, not great, but not bad. It comes out hot, and is basically cooked to order, although the eggs were overcooked. The service was real friendly and personable, but a little slow. They were pretty busy, but there was a lack of urgency I'm used to seeing in wait staff. The atmosphere though was amazing. First, the whole dining hall is a tribute to veterans.
