There is something to be said about going to your local Mom and Pop diner. 40th Street Café has a long reputation of customer satisfaction and getting top-notch customer service. I just went there this morning as I’ve gone there many other mornings and had another delicious breakfast. Typically I’m a creature of habit when I find something I really enjoy it becomes a stable. This delicious fine smorgasbord of food that you see a before me is a bacon cheddar cheese omelette...
Stopped by here on a whim, vibe was very local, can tell a majority of the patrons are regulars. Made me feel happy to be there. Food was good, coffee was great, if I'm in the neighborhood I'd stop back for breakfast again.
We had four different meals and of course the biscuits. The omelets, chicken fried steak, beef patty with eggs. Great service from Tina, friendly and welcoming. Diner with good food and it opens at 5:00 AM , You can’t beat that.
