We've been ordering from Abacus Inn for years, and the order we got last night just wasn't very good. The crab puffs were okay, but the fried rice was literally just fried rice, no vegetables, no meat, and no eggs...? And over the years their portions have gotten smaller and smaller, but their prices have gone up while the food quality has gone down. Sadly, I don't think we'll be ordering from them anymore.
Good food but I've never had Thai tea that was this brown and tastes like skim milk with tap water with a slight sour after taste. I can't pinpoint what the sour taste was since I've made Thai tea before so I was too scared to drink more
I am a repeat customer because I've had some great experiences here! Our server this most recent time messed up and had us sit at a table that was very dirty, but I immediately said something about it to her and she quickly sat us in the clean booth next to it. Mistakes happen! But they cost stars, nonetheless! Despite this, I will be back, of course
The brown rice seens like white rice and some sort of weird semisweet sauce while the general tso chicken tastes like soy sauce or maybe teriyaki
Did not like the rice. General tso chicken not even spicy.
The food was so 🔥 and the service was great. The prices were very reasonable.
I used to love this place, have spent lots of money there, however when I dropped in for a late lunch early dinner I was shocked by the Service and Food: When I got my spicy soup it was more like gelatin, I asked why was it so thick, server suggested I add water? Then when my crab puffs came they were brown, burned
actually, I asked for another order server explained he couldn't give me another order of crab puffs asked for fresh wonton for soup server told me he can't get me fresh wonton chips because they cook them ever 2-3 days ahead and I was being served on the bottom of container!? I wouldn't eat those, the server assured me this is the way people liked them, I assured the server that's NOT the way I like them he then proceeded to ask if I'd like to cancel my order, said no, but then I re-thought and wondered at what point will the food become better? So I cancelled my order asked the server what's happening here, why is the food so bad informed him I've eaten at Abacus numerous times and had never been treated so badly, I was uncomfortable, told server I'm not paying for gelatin soup or burned crab puffs, I walked over to front desk spoke to a young girl, she apologized profusely, told her I didn't eat anything asked did restaurant get a new cook, she said yes, asked for manager or better yet an owner, however no owner or manager available, asked to please explain to owner that he lost a good customer the worst Chinese Food I've ever almost had..Server gets a -0 food -0 Good Luck Folks..
Always fresh and delicious
Service was poor and the food was worse.
Food is not freshly prepared and just poor quality. Not the good restaurant it used to be.
Best Chinese food restaurant, bring your appetite!

Moved to the area 2017, finally tried the food here. Wor won ton soup, has no flavor I added soy sauce it did not help. Canton chow mein no flavor. I thought it was just me asked my mom to try it. No flavor. I won't return. I was hoping for a new favorite. Prices are great , staff very kind.
