Abacus Inn Chinese Restaurant

Abacus has been my go-to Chinese Food spot for years. I love the vegetable chow mein, the sesame chicken, the sweet and sour chicken, the orange chicken, and the crab puffs for takeout.(sometimes the Abacus special chicken) When I dine in I also get the egg drop soup, egg rolls, and the jasmine tea. Love this place and I hope it's around for many years!

I absolutely love a great sizzling rice soup... I am so glad Abacus is in my neighborhood. I will order it all the time! 😋 This was the first time I ordered food from here but it wont be the last... Cant wait to try more entrees. They have a great menu 👀

BEWARE of shifty practices and bad food. We ordered take away last night. The chicken chow mein was soapy tasting and inedible. Called them today, spoke with their employee and shared the situation. She said she had to speak with someone to see what to do. She came back on the line after a few minutes and asked when we want to come pick up a replacement. Told her that partner would call when on the way. Partner called that on the way to pick up and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. When arrived, was told, Oh you have to bring the other one back. We forgot to tell you.

This is a shameful game that restaurants like to play. TWICE we drove to get food that should be edible. Now this? Never again will we buy from them.

We ordered 4 orders or fried wonton, expecting that they'd have at least a cream cheese filling. Nope, nothing. Just empty wonton wrappers. $20 spent for maybe $5 worth of wonton pastry. This place isn't worth your time or money.

I live way in Avondale and will travel to abacus for the Vegetable fried rice and ribs.... I only eat their ribs and nobody elses... I highly recommend this place, and I've told a few friends to come to their establishment.... Thanks for the delicious food.... and im a picky eater..... so yes go and enjoy the food!

Bad food. Bad service and even poorer management. I went in alone and spent $45.00 on dinner. My food messed up and the server was horrible. The restaurant manager told after calling back the next day I would have a credit in the system to use later because of the bad experience. Went to use and they were like there is nothing here for you? What the what? So upsetting. It seemed rather unorganized and not very well communicated to the people who take orders. Just ridiculous. Now I don’t get what they promised to me?
