This restaurant is a reason to visit the museum. The design is beautiful and the food is excellent and artsy. I got the burratato start and the pierogi and keilbasa for dinner. The tomatoes were heirloom. The pierogies were designer.
The restaurant gave us lunch cafeteria vibes. I ordered the steak and it was good but should come with a different side. It was OK in our opinion.
We had a wonderful meal at Alden last night! Our party of four enjoyed multiple cocktails and the Happy Glass Red. The cauliflower karaage, fingerling potatoes and yuzu hamachi appetizers were all so good, we said we could just order another round and be happy!! We did in fact try the fattoush salad, apple/brie grilled cheese, and two kielbasa/pierogies entrees. All of the dishes were delicious. We will definitely be back soon!!
