Animals and Humans in Disaster, Inc Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry Dept

I was told by a man named Jerry I believe to meet him at 67th and camelback for dog food and I’ve been texting and calling and still he hasn’t responded! He said meet him at 5pm it is now 5:48pm and he still hasn’t said anything back to me! I told him I lived in Surprise which is super far from here (btw I’m still sitting here with no response) and that I’m in college and about my autistic children and why I needed to keep my dogs for them! And the voicemail says to text, now I’m thinking this is not a reliable place! It’s almost 6pm I’ve been sitting here since 4:50 because I wanted to make sure I made it on time and still nothing! No response and no website to even try to get another number to call! I don’t know what they are doing however I know for a fact I still have no dog food! I understand ppl get busy but you can just tell someone you can’t make it let’s reschedule or something!! This is not what I expected AT ALL! I know dude on the phone was kind of vague and like rushing me off the phone but I didn’t think I’d be left with nothing! I even told them what car I’m in so they couldn’t get confused but still no one! I even asked if I could meet the at 4:30 and still no response like this place is something else! Being a little late heck even 30minutes late but a whole hour is not ok! I wasted gas coming over here and now I’m leaving with nothing at all! What are my dogs supposed to do now? I waited all day for this guy Jerry or whatever his name is because I thought it was legit and I didn’t call any other place I’m not greedy I just need help right now is all! Unacceptable!

A wonderful group doing important work for both people and animals during disasters. Their dedication and quick response make a real difference in the community!

I’m not one for bad reviews but the place is not there and they literally told us they only deliver. So we told them we were down the road and they just said call moms pantry

I don’t understand why this is considered a open business

Are they just manipulating donations? Or what?
It looks as if they reply to negative comments but still have the same issues as prior. This is how you get audited

They helped me with food for my puppies that I needed so badly a few months ago! I am now in need again!

This place is no help. Not sure what they do with their donations. All they will do is tell you where human food banks are and that you can feed your pet human food. The woman I spoke with sounds like she's 110 years old so I'm not even sure she knew what she's talking about. I'm looking for catfood, real cat food, that I can put in my car and take to feed a feral colony and deliver to some elderly folks who can't afford to feed their pets. Everyone knows you can buy a can of tuna for a dollar and feed it to a cat. I don't need a 501c3 to tell me that.??‍♀️

They do so much good for the community. Came upon a family in distress with pets and they went out of their way to respond.

Cj and the volunteers do so much to help the veterans and animals of Az....the Dirty Paws Gang dog rescue has been so fortunate to get help from them...thank you!!

They help those in a difficult situation and help them with the loving pets that face the challenges of their survival.
