Greeted as soon as we walked in. The environment is clean and inviting. Our waitress attended to us immediately. Kind, courteous staff who check up on us regularly. The food was phenomenal! We had the media parillada for 2. It comes in a hot tray heated by charcoal with 3 steamy meats of your choice, 7 homemade tortillas, salsa, chips, onions, jalapenos, grilled onions and and charro beans. You still get a side of guacamole, cucumbers, limes, and red onions. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place. Prices are very affordable too. We will be returning.

Just got off a long flight from the East Coast and was told my the car rental representative to come here. This place did not disappoint. The girls warmly welcomed us and sat us right away. We ordered the whole chicken. This can feed 2-4 people. Everything was delicious! The limonada was tasty and refreshing. If you're in the area or coming off a flight, make this your first stop. It's minutes from the airport!

One of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix, period - not just for Mexican food. This place embodies the “hole in the wall” mindset without being dirty. The food is sooooooo good, and I’ve never had issues with the service. Pretty much the whole menu is a safe bet, so don’t be afraid to just pick something!
This place was really such a gem. I had the carne asada I think. With pico de gallo on the side. The meat and beans and pico were all so good! The salsa that came before our food definitely had kick- both the green and the red, though green was a tiny bit milder. I still coughed lol. The people were so friendly and accommodating! Really nice experience overall.
These types of restaurants you wish you find randomly in your own neighborhood. So sad this place is in Phoenix because I would eat here all the time if it was local.
I got the "house special" Steak Picado, basically a plate of carne asada chopped up with onions, peppers, spices and topped with cheese, fresh avocado, cucumbers, and refried beans. The beans were refried to perfection with a hint of chile powder which gave it a delectable earthy richness. I opted for corn tortillas. Also received chips and salsa, one red and one green. Both absolute ? and delicious.
This restaurant has that unique charm of what seems to be a family run place. You can taste the love and authenticity in both the food and the people. Now to find more reasons to come out to AZ. ?
