This is such a a hidden gem and their coffee jello is by far the best I have tried in town. Their birthday cake and other baked goods are just right on the sweetness (not too sweet) and their fruit cakes are very fresh.
Asahi Bakery is a hidden gem! The pastries are fresh, light, and not overly sweet just perfect. I especially loved the melon pan and matcha cream bun. The staff was friendly and the shop had a clean, cozy vibe. A must-visit spot for anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese baked goods.
My parents have been going here since I was a baby, so the owners have seen me grow up (20+ years in business). They are the sweetest, and the bakery items are really good. We get their cakes for every special occasion and I truly hope they stay open forever! Definitely recommend if you enjoy delicate sponge cakes with a light sweetness that keeps you wanting more. <3
