Asahi Bakery is a hidden gem! The pastries are fresh, light, and not overly sweet just perfect. I especially loved the melon pan and matcha cream bun. The staff was friendly and the shop had a clean, cozy vibe. A must-visit spot for anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese baked goods.
My parents have been going here since I was a baby, so the owners have seen me grow up (20+ years in business). They are the sweetest, and the bakery items are really good. We get their cakes for every special occasion and I truly hope they stay open forever! Definitely recommend if you enjoy delicate sponge cakes with a light sweetness that keeps you wanting more. <3
What a little gem! I have never noticed this place before but we stopped in today with a friend and everything looked delicious and fresh! I had my toddlers with me and they were being toddlers, of course, but the lady was so sweet with them. The macarons and buns were delicious! We will be back next time we need a cake.
