My husband and I happened in here on open mic night. It was so cool to see such a community presence somewhere. The open patio was really nice to sit and have dinner.The food was excellent! My husband is always on the search for a good enchilada, he was able to sub steak for the chicken in the Pollo fundido. I had a beef tamale with red sauce. Everything was really good.The salsa was interesting, I liked the black olives in it but was not expecting them

The salsa is something you get a taste for and have to return to eat. ? Patio seating in the non-blazing hot Arizona months is a must. Meal was pretty good, but not exceptional. Live music when I visited (Friday night) and the place was packed. Atmosphere and salsa are the wins here.

Attentive staff, great delicious food served fast. We were seated on the large, shaded, dog friendly patio. It is a very charming atmosphere. Anything I've ever ordered from the menu has been great. This is a perfect place to bring out of town guests.

We live in LA although I’m from Phoenix and my wife has heard about cheese crisps from me for years so this was our chance to finally have one. Well, it was awful. Way way way too much cheese! The tortilla was soaking in fat. There was nothing crisp about it. Nice place, average Mexican food, lousy cheese crisps!

I usually don't post reviews and try to give places the benefit of the doubt (especially if it is a negative review) but the last couple times have been extremely disappointing. Went last night for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was only at 1/3 capacity and waited an hour and a half without being served. Went to the hostess stand because our waitress was nowhere to be found and told them we had been waiting for over an hour. The said they would check and we waited another 15 minutes with no one checking back with us, so we left.As we were leaving the table next to us commented they were about to do the same as they had been waiting over 45 min for their check.This used to be one of my favorite places in PHX, but will not be returning. The previous visit was not as bad with the timing, but the chair I was sitting in was broken, and the table cloth was torn and dirty. I'm not expecting first class accommodations, but with the recent price increases I expect a *little* more when paying $26 for a chimichanga.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your next event. We live nearby and have always enjoyed Aunt Chilada's. So when looking for a reception venue, they were at the top of the list! From inquiry to contract to communication to event, everything was amazing. Michele and her team were super accommodating. The menu selection was easy and everyone remarked how great dinner was. We had a few guests with special dietary needs, all of whom were individually served and loved their meals. Steve, the banquet manager, and the crew were so fantastic. Plenty of servers to take care of 125 people. Bartenders were quick and made great drinks. Even sparklers were handed out by the staff. We had our own centerpieces and the staff got everything set up perfectly. The champagne wall, too. I could go on and on!
