Finally tried this place for the first time last week after driving by the freeway sign for years. Just happened to be in the area after running a work errand.

Service was great, loved the cozy atmosphere and the food was amazing! The salsa was a little different than what I expected; given that they use black olives as part of their recipe. The food is really delicious. It's kind of a Mexican Arizona Sonoran blend very comfort food. We actually ordered the shrimp tamales which had a star by it and it's pretty amazing a lot of food. We didn't eat at all but we ate what we could cuz their portions are so big. Great environment as well. Cheers!

A true historic treasure in north Phoenix. The fajitas are gold! Super authentic, rambling site with tons of outdoor secret gardens, multiple dining rooms and sports bars. Delicious food, friendly staff. Try not to overeat!
