Phoenix Landmark, legendary. Old school Italian with pasta that evaporates in your mouth its so fresh. Dont be in a rush, have an extra drink and bring someone who appreciates nuances.
I wouldn’t necessarily go back to a restaurant JUST because of a cocktail, but then again, I can’t stop thinking about Avanti’s creamy espresso martini in that frosted martini glass! The others in my party raved about the flan and tiarmasu, but I’ll keep my frosty liquid dessert. With its red, black and white decor, Avanti’s is a magical step back in time, the good kind. Party of three for dinner. Service was warm and attentive. Had the chicken parmigiana, two orders of the chefs combo and shared a Caesar salad - all were delicious! Pasta made fresh daily with light, flavorful sauces. 🍷 🍸 Dessert menu looked 💯 so we’ll add it to our next visit.
